- Report writing skills in English required.

Level 3 - the responsibilities of the post may require the post holder to have regular contact with or access to children or young people.
ROLEPURPOSE:
This role leads the health component activities under the project. S/he will be responsible for ensuring health interventions provided in Kafr Elsheikh are planned, coordinated, implemented, and reported in a quality, timely manner, and in compliance with SCI and donor requirements. S/he will also play a pivotal role in internal and external stakeholder management.
The project duration is two years targeting 3 locations, Aswan, Elminya and Kafr Elsheikh. The PM will manage the component related to the project in Kafr Elsheikh governorate only.
Save the Children aims to strengthen Egypt’s primary health care system in line with the Universal Health Insurance rollout, ensuring equitable access for vulnerable groups including refugees, migrants, women, and persons with disabilities. The project focuses on improving service quality and inclusivity through health system strengthening, community engagement, and innovative delivery models. The project will be implemented over a 24-month period in Aswan, Kafr El Sheikh and in Minya governorates. All proposed activities will be implemented in all three governorates, except for those under Output 1.2, which will mainly target refugees and migrants residing in Aswan. Key priorities include training community health workers with standardized, nationally endorsed guidelines to ensure consistent, high-quality care, and expanding inclusive health awareness and primary care services provision to build trust and improve access for underserved populations. In addition, Save the Children will establish community health committees and lead community campaigns to foster participation, accountability, and health-seeking behaviours. SC will also pilot a model to include refugees and migrants within the national UHIS in Egypt.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Project Implementation
• Supervise all health activities implemented directly and through the partner NGOs.
• Capacity building for health staff, community workers, Partner NGO and other stakeholders
• Plan, implement, and supervise primary healthcare activities including community health awareness sessions, capacity building for public entities, and other activities.
• Identify and continuously update health awareness sessions and events messages based on needs and evolved situations.
• Participates in healthcare facilities assessments and plans for support based on assessment.
• Ensure data collection design, gathering, and analysis that support data-based advocacy messages for universal health coverage
• Actively participate in project management cycle activities including needs assessment, project design, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Designing and implementing community outreach work plans and tracking all related expenditures; preparing financial forecasts/ plans directly linked to community work plans.
• Support the project manager in leading and overseeing the high-quality implementation of SC’s Health activities for refugees and host communities to fulfill obligations to stakeholders at all levels.
• Coach and build the capacity of the community mobilization team as needed.
• Utilize the Performance Management System, define expectations of staff members, and develop work plans and improvement plans as needed.
Reporting and documentation
• Assures and revises comprehensive, accurate, and on time data registration process.
• Assures that the action taken are documented and cases are followed up, and the feedback recorded.
• Support for preparing all reports needed for Health activities.
Budgeting
· Support in quality budget phasing, monitoring, and utilization, participates in cost/benefit assessment for Health activities guided by donor SOPs
