You have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience with responsibility for programmes and senior grant management experience in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Experience of working on, coordinating or leading consortia or other forms of partnership implementation
- Experience in M&E systems and approaches, and accountability mechanisms and frameworks
- Experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s licence
Contract

With a strong focus on programme quality and support, the Head of Programme Support Unit assumes overall responsibility for the integration of cross-cutting themes, such as Safe and Inclusive Programming. The Head of Programme Support Unit is also responsible for leadership and engagement in consortiums and expansion of Partnerships Portfolio, and will guide the development and continuous evolution of NRC Ukraine country’s grant portfolio and act as PCM compliance/focal point. HoPSU will also oversee implementation of Digital Solutions across Core Competences, and as delegated from the Head of Programme, ensure a robust Monitoring and Evaluation system for the Country programme.
The Programme Support Unit works collaboratively with Core Competency Specialists, Support Managers, Area Managers and Program Managers on ensuring program quality and development of capacity on cross-cutting and programme support themes.

What you will do:
- Oversee the integration of Safe and Inclusive Programming minimum standards into PCM and other processes, as well as roll-out of NRC Ukraine Safe and Inclusive Programming action plan.
- Support the development of NRC Ukraine’s Partnerships strategy and the meaningful integration of high-quality partnerships into the programme portfolio.
- Oversee the development and mainstreaming of NRC’s digital solutions expansion to relevant
- Core Competency programming and technical thematic areas.
- Support the effective functioning of the Grants Unit, including compliance, programme development and project cycle management processes.
- Initiate the development and embedding of technical guidance documents/SOPs and tools relevant to the Programme Support Unit.
- Lead programmatic audits focussed on quality, compliance, timeliness, and relevance.
- Contribute to lessons learnt and evidence-based programming in a systematic manner.
- Ensure coordination between NRC Ukraine, Regional Office and Head Office on cross-cutting thematic areas of work, consortium management andPCM.
- Oversight of other initiatives and responsibilities as delegatedby the Head of Programme.
