• Advanced software knowledge in Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Experience in graphic design for print and digital media
• Ability to create visually compelling graphics for various media

• Strong communication skills and teamwork experience

Contract

This is a UNV National Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Youth contracts.

This volunteering opportunity is supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Tunisia in the framework of the initiative launched in partnership with UNV in December 2023 to foster youth and disability inclusion through meaningful and impactful volunteering assignments with the United Nations between 2024 and 2026.

The graphic designer will play a crucial role in creating visual content for social media and other communication needs. He/she will collaborate closely with the communication team to ensure the developed graphics align with the overall messaging and objectives of the office's partnership advocacy and communication efforts. This includes designing infographics, editing videos, retouching photos, and creating other visual materials as needed. 

Under the direct supervision of the communication specialist, the UN Volunteer will undertake the following tasks based on the briefs that will be provided by the communication team: • Create visually compelling and innovative graphics for print, digital, and web-based media. • Support graphic design needs for video and audio production projects; provide postproduc-tion to visuals and audiovisuals for digital platforms and social media. • Design various communication materials, including digital, offline, and print. • Assist with taking photos and videos during events and field visits. • Edit photos and videos for social media use or internal use. Edit and design reports and internal documents as needed and requested.
