You have:
- Advanced University Degree in Graphic Design or other relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years of work experience in graphic design for print and digital media, including some video production.
- Strong knowledge of current and emerging design trends.
- Demonstrated ability to lead medium to large design projects, from proposal to final product.
- Detail-oriented designer who can make creative decisions with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in graphic and editing programmes including Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva.
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight individual and/or group deadlines.
- Highly organized and efficient with excellent communication and writing skills.
- Ability to interact comfortably with different levels of management and functional teams.
- Fluency (level C) in English language, Intermediate knowledge (level B) of a second official UN language desirable: Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, and/or Portuguese.

Who we are looking for: We are seeking to identify IT Consultant- Graphic Designer
What we offer: a When-Actually Employed (WAE) contract where the incumbent is expected to work an average of a few days a week. The request of working days per week may change depending on the deadlines/activities planning. Duration of the contract: 11 months.
Workplace: You will be expected to work from remote with working hours GMT+1. You will interact with a diversified team spread in different locations.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
Technology and connectivity are rapidly reaching some of the most vulnerable people and places affected by crises, but they are also increasingly expanding to the services responding to those same crises. As one of the main humanitarian actors, WFP has the opportunity and the obligation to leverage data and technology to better know and serve those in need by digitally transforming the way it works. In the next two years WFP aims to establish, integrate, and mainstream the core elements of an end-to-end digital business process.
In this context, the Technology Division (TEC) is determined to be a flexible, customer-centric, Digital Leader and the Creative Content Lead will play a key role in developing a strategic narratives, messages, content and channels to support this business objective. This requires an experienced and digitally savvy expert with strong writing, editing, design and audio-visual skills who can coordinate and enhance internal and external communication.
The consultant will work under the general supervision of the Creative Content Lead within the TEC
Communications team. The consultant will be expected to research, coordinate, write, edit, fact check and validate content in a variety of formats as well as supporting on the development or delivery of other Communications activities as required.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and expand TEC related branding to reflect the Division’s priorities as well as propose expanded design and branding elements
- Working closely with WFP TECC team, develop branding to ensure alignment with WFP
communications guidelines.
- Design publications including annual reports, taking advantage of the format to creatively
highlight achievements and activities.
- Expand and update promotional items.
- When required, help design information management and communications products in line with branding requirements including calendars, factsheets and videos.
- Design marketing collateral for TEC trainings and events including banners, posters, flags, T-shirts and work with vendors to ensure quality requirements are met and products are delivered within deadline.
- Where required, design interface graphics for new tools and service icons where required, design interface graphics for new tools and service icons.
- Provide source files for artwork to TEC as required.
- Any other duties as assigned within the TECC branch.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education
Advance University Degree in Graphic Designer or other relevant discipline.
Experience
At least 5 years of work experience in graphic design for print and digital media, including some video production.
