You have:

Duties and Responsibilities

Background: The RC Office in KSA works with the UN Entities in the UN Country Team for Saudi Arabia to research, write and produce the Annual UN Results Report (UNCRR). The UNCRR is a public information and advocacy tool which highlights the results, partnerships and priorities of the UN in support of sustainable development in Saudi Arabia. Duties and Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the RCO Head of Office, the IC will design the 2024 UN Country Results Report (UNCRR), English and Arabic versions, and short summary versions of the report in English and Arabic. The IC will take the current draft/template of the UNCRR, English version, and design the cover page, end page, headings and subheadings, thematic theme, etc.. The process will be done in two phases. First, the IC will design the above for the English version of the UNCRR and its summary, according to the information provided by the RCO, which will then be integrated by the RCO. After the English UNCRR version is finalized, the UNCRR will be translated into Arabic by the RCO. Then the IC will update all the graphical elements of the UNCRR with the Arabic translations and prepare the summary version of the Arabic report.

A Bachelor in design or visual communications or any relevant fields is required. A minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in graphic design or visual communications or any relevant fields is required.

Languages

English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat; and Arabic is a working language of ESCWA. For this position, fluency in English is required. Fluency in Arabic is desirable. Note: “Fluency” equals a rating of ‘fluent’ in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and “Knowledge of” equals a rating of ‘confident’ in two of the four areas.
