Graphic Content/Design for RCO Visibility Products: 5.1 Develop relevant graphic content/design for identified RCO visual assets (including but not limited to workshop, campaign, activation, and media visit) such as, factsheet, invitation, brochures, and infographics among others; 5.2 Transform text-based communications materials into visual graphic design materials 5.3 Develop designs for communication materials based on assignment brief 5.4 Provide recommendations on the best and most relevant visual design style and materials suitable for the project’s target audience 5.5 Liaise with and report to Communication Associate and Head of the Office/Senior Strategic Planner regarding any visual design work

Work Location Home based, Indonesia

Expected duration 18 April - 31 December 2022

Duties and Responsibilities In view of raising awareness of what the UN in Indonesia is actively advocating, the Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) has developed a workplan to streamline communications efforts across agencies and to amplify the multi-stakeholder engagement (UN, government, academe, CSO, private sector and creative communities among others) in promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This consolidated effort is activated by disseminating various graphic products – including quarterly newsletter, greeting cards, posters, leaflets, brochures and infographics in giving visibility to the RCO.

In order to visually enhance the said efforts, RCO wishes to engage a proficient Graphic Designer (Consultant). The incumbent shall be responsible to develop graphic assets under the guidance of the RCO, while ensuring the compliance towards SDGs and UN in Indonesia’s branding guideline.

The Graphic Designer is expected to provide high quality graphic assets and necessary support.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in graphic design or any other related qualifications including art and design. Experience: - At least 3 years of work experience in graphic design; - Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, CorelDraw, or similar; - Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and color management Language: - Fluency in Bahasa - Written and spoken proficiency in English
