Result of Service 1) Prepare graphic design of the UN Annual Results Report (full package): - UN ARR in English, Tajik, Russian languages, PDF format, 35-40 pages - Two-pagers for UN ARR in three languages - Social media cards in three languages

2) Prepare of illustrations package within the new UNSDCF (two-pagers, roll-up banners, social media cards, digital posters, GIF animation packages) 3) Prepare UN infographics, posters, postcards for various days and events as necessary

Work Location Dushanbe.

Expected duration 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities - Produce the design content with high quality visualization or graphs, charts, stories and other items as required by the RCO - Based on the UN Annual Results Report Guidance shape the inputs from the RCO/individual consultant to the final designed product in PDF format - Submit final version of each product in separate packages ready for online distribution and printing as necessary - Design other materials as required

Qualifications/special skills The UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Tajikistan seeks to enlist a Graphic designer consultant to design the Annual Results Report and other publications and information materials for the UN Country Team in Tajikistan. The selected designer will be responsible for preparation of high-quality graphic design of the analytical reports, visualization of data, preparation of social media cards and other similar materials intended for various tailored audience and to be shared through different channels (UNCT website, social media networks, publications, etc.).

The Consultant will work 30 days under the direct supervision of the UN RCO Programme Communications and Advocacy Analyst in Tajikistan and overall guidance of the UN RCO Team Leader a.i.

At least 3 years proven experience in visual design, preferably with development agencies/UN is required. Proven work experience with international organizations is required. Access to relevant equipment, software, and speedy Internet connection is required.

Required skills: - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or other graphic design software. - Skills in producing .gif format interactive materials.

Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Digital/Visual arts or related field is required.

Languages Fluency in Russian is required. Knowledge of English and Tajik is advantage.
