Result of Service The work of the contractor will directly contribute to the quality finalization of UN corporate reports in Haiti and effective strategic communications through the production of design products.

Duties and Responsibilities The United Nations System has begun the process of developing its new United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) for Haiti as the current Integrated Strategic Framework comes to an end on 31 December 2022. The UNSDCF will be the United Nations reference document for planning and carrying out actions to support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Haiti. Covering the period 2023-2027, it will govern the entire programming cycle organizing the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the collective action conducted by the United Nations System. As part of their activities, UN agencies, in collaboration with the Government and their international and local partners, implement activities aimed at improving the living conditions and well-being of the people living in Haiti. In the interest of accountability to all stakeholders, the UN Country Team will publish periodic reports that will then be disseminated both within and outside of Haiti's borders. These reports are advocacy tools for mobilizing additional resources from the country's Technical and Financial Partners to launch new initiatives and/or consolidate achievements.

Three (3) reports will be published between April and December 2022. These are the Common Country Analysis, the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) and the UNCT results report. The consultant will also support the production of regular country updates “UN Haiti in Action” and design materials for use by the UN in its website and social media platforms, such as infographics, banners, designed posts.

Based on the data reported by the agencies, particularly on the UN Info platform, the Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO), in conjunction with the agencies, will prepare the reports and make them available to the selected individual. The Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO) will also make available images, tables, Excel files or links containing data that will be used to design graphical representations presenting the results in a synthetic manner and/or presenting trends. Productions under contract with the RCO are intended for free distribution and will be the exclusive property of the RCO. The successful contractor will report to Head of RCO and the RCO Communications Officer. The consultant recruited will support the production and development of content for RCO communication tools, including social media graphic design, infographics, banners and other design materials.

The contractor's tasks include the production of design and the final graphic versions of the report on the results of the United Nations in Haiti, the Common Country Analysis (CCA) and the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) are the following in both French and English versions:

- Production of classic quality PDF documents (25 pages maximum per document), correctly formatted (A4 document), formatted, and illustrated with relevant photos. - Fully designed laid out document in InDesign/Adobe format. - Layout in line with DCO guidance and RCO branding guide (provided by RCO). - Statistics/ trends to be shown in infographics; - A classic quality PDF document for review; - A version of the document for the web with a hyperlinked table of contents will also be provided;

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, digital professions: social communications, design, writing or web development or related field is required. Experience: Experience: A minimum of five years of professional experience in graphic design, digital professions is required. Experience developing designed reports/communications products for the United Nations coordination office (s) is required. Language: Language: English an official official working language of the United Nations. For this assignment fluency in English is required.
