This task is for the graphic design of the 14th Joint Regional Analysis (JRA) for the Horn of Africa, which is an internal UN document. The JRA is a key deliverable under the Regional Prevention and Integration Strategy for the Horn of Africa, and aims to provide a snapshot of key regional trends, emerging risks and projected changes in the region over a four-month period. The drafting process is a collaborative UN-wide effort, coordinated and led by the Office of the Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa.
We are looking for 1 Online Volunteer who have experience graphic design of policy report. The task will include the following responsibilities: - Collect information on document/material background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.; - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point; - Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connection with the Office of the Special Envoy’s focal point on the JRA and learn about the how the JRA is conducted within the United Nation nations system.
Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
