You have:
- Experience in graphic design, including layout and design of calendars, reports or multi-page publications.
- Strong proficiency in bilingual design (English and Arabic).
- Ability to create engaging visuals and infographics.
- Proficiency in graphic design applications such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or equivalent.
- A degree in graphic design, communication design, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

In 2026, UNICEF will celebrate 55 years of work in the Sultanate of Oman, reflecting on our achievements and milestones since 1971. To commemorate this anniversary, UNICEF Oman is developing a bilingual (English and Arabic) office desk calendar that highlights key achievements, UNICEF-branded messages, and international, regional and local days of significance.
The calendar will serve as a creative and engaging story-telling way to communicate UNICEF’s work and values to partners, staff and visitors, while visually celebrating our history, partnership with the government and ongoing impact in Oman.
Deliverables:
Finalized bilingual 2026 office desk calendar, ready for print distribution, by the 30th November 2025.
Editable source files (InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop) and final PDF versions suitable for printing.
UNICEF Oman is seeking the support of a volunteer graphic designer to create the 2026 office desk calendar, combining compelling visuals, engaging design and bilingual content in line with UNICEF branding. The final calendar will need to be ready by 30th November 2025. Specific dimensions will be shared upon selection.
Under the supervision of UNICEFs communication’s team, we are seeking a volunteer to support us with:
Develop the full layout and visual design of the 2026 office desk calendar, including graphics, images, and other visuals.
Ensure the calendar is bilingual (English and Arabic), with clear readability and consistency across both languages.
Highlight UNICEF Oman’s 55-year history, achievements, and key messages in a visually engaging way.
Include international, regional, and local days of significance, ensuring they are clearly marked and visually highlighted throughout the calendar.
Ensure the calendar adheres to UNICEF branding, visual identity, and design guidelines, which will be shared with the volunteer.
Collaborate with the Communications Team to incorporate content and provide timely feedback for revisions.
