What is the background of this project and its objectives? Since 2019-2023, the European Union (EU) and the United Nations (UN) in close collaboration with the Government of Liberia and Women-led Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) have been implementing the Liberia Spotlight Initiative (LSI) Programme, a partnership to end violence and harmful practices against women and girls (VAW/ HP) and to promote sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR). The Programme team and partners have compiled an Annual Narrative Report for 2022 and six accompanying annexes.
The team, therefore, seeks to hire a short-term graphic designer to layout the page composition, determine ideal info-graphics, based on information and instructions provided by the team, and ensure that text and images are balanced to produce a high-quality visual and narrative annual report and annexes so that those documents follow prescribed visibility guidelines available here: Spotlight Initiative Brand Guidelines All the content and design structure for the publication will be predetermined and provided by the team for the final design. The consultant is expected to design several infographics, to insert photos and quotes as agreed with the team.
UNDP Liberia is looking for an experienced online volunteer to design and layout the Knowledge Products developed 2019-2023 under the Spotlight Initiative Programme. This will include text and photo layout, and the development of several appropriate infographics to clearly convey the Knowledge product.
All the needed material and document will be sent to the selected online volunteer.
The online volunteer must be a seasoned graphic designer with experience using design software to design and produce reports for international organizations in line with organizational branding guidelines and policies, and with timely delivery of outputs to highest standards. Visual communication skills would be an added advantage.
