Contract

This is a UNV contract. More about UNV contracts.

We currently have about 40 slides showcasing information on innovative smart city practices in a power point format with an existing design. The task would consist on transferring the information into InDesign format and improve the details of the overall document, so it can be attached to an existing publication. More than one iteration is expected, as feedback from reviewers is integrated.

  • Art and design
  • Web and graphic design

Smart cities have traditionally been a term associated with the intensive use of technology and data in cities, but this tech-centric definition has often limited the term to cities in high-income settings. In this publication, we present the idea that there is no one single definition of a ‘Smart City’. Instead, we identify Smart Urban Innovations, as new or innovative approaches to identify and develop solutions that different cities across the globe have been exploring and explore how they can be enhanced. The online volunteer will be expected to deliver a professional InDesign version of the existing publication and pdf.
