The Joint Intersectoral Analysis Framework (JIAF) Manual is a critical document that sets global standards for estimating and analyzing humanitarian needs and protection risks. To ensure its accessibility to a wider audience, the UN OCHA Design and Multimedia Unit (DMU) has translated the manual into Spanish and French, requiring skilled graphic designers to format these translations while maintaining the manual's original design and layout integrity. ****Provide a portfolio (PDF or online) demonstrating previous design work, specifically in formatting and layout.***

We are seeking two Online Volunteers who are skilled in graphic design and proficient in Adobe InDesign (INDD) to format the translated JIAF Manual into Spanish and French. Each volunteer will be responsible for one language (Spanish or French). The translation and the design template (INDD) will be provided by the Design and Multimedia Unit (DMU).

In particular, each Online Volunteer is asked to: - Format the translated JIAF Manual (approximately 90 pages) into Spanish or French using Adobe InDesign. - Maintain the original document's design and layout, ensuring the translated text fits appropriately. - Utilize paragraph styles in Adobe InDesign to ensure consistency and professional quality. - Collaborate with DMU to address any design-related issues that may arise during the formatting process. - Submit the final formatted documents in INDD package and PDF formats.

The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Design and Multimedia Unit at UN OCHA and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support humanitarian response.

****Provide a portfolio (PDF or online) demonstrating previous design work, specifically in formatting and layout.***
