You have:
- Advanced University Degree (Master's degree or equivalent degree) in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is required.
- A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- At least 2 years of substantial experience in designing complex graphics for educational purposes, including charts, diagrams, is desirable.
- Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and composition and a strong creative flair and the ability to think visually.
- Fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Working knowledge of French is desirable.
- Prior experience working with the UN is highly desirable, especially in the production of UN materials.

Result of Service
Increased familiarization with the LCAP among field personnel serving in field offices will improve a share understanding of the methodological approach and enhance integration of concepts and tools ahead of virtual or in-person training, increasing effectiveness and also efficiency by allowing to reduce the number of in-person training days in the field. The use of LCAP itself is expected to improve operational coherence and the adoption of integrated action plan to best reduce violence and tensions in the context of local conflict dynamics faced in UN peacekeeping settings.

Duties and Responsibilities
The individual contractor will be responsible for the following specific tasks and responsibilities: Develop a coherent graphic design consisting of slide layout, visuals and charts, aligned with the current LCAP concept, for a slideshow of approximately 100 slides covering the 5 steps of the LCAP methodology. Integrate graphic elements that can be used for subsequent animation purposes and synchronized with the script provided by DPET to promote an interactive and engaging experience for the user.
