UNICEF Serbia plans to conduct three fundraising campaigns per year targeting individuals and business sector with the aim to engage them to financially contribute to specific areas of UNICEF’s work.

In addition to fundraising campaigns for specific programme interventions, UNICEF Serbia plans to have an on-going campaign that focuses on the mobilization of regular monthly donors: individuals and business sector (targeting micro, small and medium businesses).

In order to secure success of the campaigns, the office needs expert support service in developing engaging communication products that will help raise awareness and mobilise donors to financially support UNICEF.

Work Assignment Overview:

The Graphic and Web Design Contractor will contribute to:

  • increasing public awareness and providing support for UNICEF programme priorities and activities,
  • increasing the engagement of individuals and business sector to donate to UNICEF and in this way support the implementation of the specific UNICEF programmes.

Under the supervision of the Fundraising Specialist, the contractor will produce various types of design and graphic solutions, including print, digital and video, as required by the Fundraising section.

Duration of the assignment: March - December 2022 (part-time, remote)

Task description:

  1. Assist with the development, adaptation and production of various web design solutions, including the landing page for various fundraising and private sector mobilization campaigns.
  2. Assist with the production of various types of visual designs for the needs of private sector engagement.
  3. Develop the creative work based on the information and briefings on programme activity submitted by UNICEF. The assignment involves production of creative elements: design, visual layout for different advocacy and fundraising activities that include: special events, campaigns advertising, promotion through different media and communication channels including digital.
  4. Adapt the images and graphic design for campaigns such as newsletter, print ads, billboards, inserts, direct mail letters, social media visuals.
  5. Assure that all business contacts and forms of collaboration are entered in the UNISON as the central navigation tool for contacts.

Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required:

  • Minimum high school degree. Desired educational background: Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or Digital marketing
  • At least three years of experience in design services and marketing.
  • Proven experience in developing graphic design and visual presentations.
  • Work experience covering UNICEF’s work, and familiarity with development issues is a plus.
  • Expertise in advertising and marketing, specialized expertise in graphic design and web site design.
  • Fluency in both English and Serbian.
