UNV FU in collaboration with UNDP (Environment and clean energy department) and "Association pour le Developpement du KOURITENGA" (ADK) wants to implement a Volunteer Promotion Initiative in Baskoure, led by UN serving Volunteers.

We are looking for one (01) Online Volunteer who under the guidance of Country Coordinator and in close collaboration with the communications team support us by providing graphic design support to UNV Burkina, focusing on creating posters and designing content for social media platforms. Here's a detailed breakdown of their responsibilities and the logistics involved:

Poster Design: The volunteer will be entrusted with crafting captivating posters that effectively convey UNV's messages, events, campaigns, or initiatives. Close collaboration with team members will ensure a clear understanding of project requirements, target audience, and desired messaging. While maintaining adherence to our brand guidelines, the volunteer will infuse their designs with creativity and originality.

Social Media Content Creation: In addition to poster design, the volunteer will contribute to the creation of engaging visual content for our social media platforms. This includes designing graphics, info-graphics, banners, cover photos, and other assets aligned with our social media strategy.

As part of their responsibilities, the volunteer will create 10-15 captivating posters.

The design/layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the Online Volunteers in advance.

The Online Volunteer/s will have the opportunity to build connections with the Field Unit and learn about the ways in which graphic design can support the "Volunteer Promotion Initiative" to be implemented in Baskoure.

Candidates should have professional experience in graphic design with previous experience in designing document layouts, and must have in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, as well as good verbal and written communication skills. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
