NRC is looking for a Grants & Partnerships Manager to join the Afghanistan mission. The role holder will lead the facilitation of effective grants management across the country operations. He/she will ensure compliance for the grant portfolio, supervise agreements with local partners, oversee capacity development initiatives, supporting activities under the project cycle management framework, and ensure compliance with the downstream partnership toolkit.

What You Will Do

  • Context-specific fundraising strategy development.
  • Partnership approach oversight.
  • Partner identification, assessment, and capacity development.
  • Grant and donor requirements, rules, regulations, and deadlines overview.
  • Concept notes, proposals, and reports timely and quality development.
  • Financial and grant documentation accurate and timely delivery.
  • Grant-related communication.

What You Will Bring

  • Donor relations and grants management experience.
  • Donor rules and regulations understanding and expertise.
  • Multiple donor exposure.
  • Report and proposal development of high-quality track record.
  • High risk, insecure, opaque, complex, and volatile context exposure, and experience with displaced people.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

  • Kabul, Afghanistan duty station.
  • 24-months contract duration.
  • 30% travel, approximately.
