NRC is looking for a Grants Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be the technical and process lead NRC Myanmar’s grant and partnership management, fundraising and project-cycle management. He/she will provide essential grant management support to the Head of Programme in delivering quality programmes in line with NRC Myanmar’s strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Strategic Fundraising & Donor Engagement: Leading the fundraising strategy; maintaining donor relationships; and having an overview of all grants, donor requirements, and rules and regulations.
  • Partnerships: Developing partnership and localization strategies; strengthening the collaboration with other actors; and facilitating partnership tools, systems, and capacity building.
  • Project Cycle Management (PCM): Implementing PCM systems across departments.
  • Consortia: Strategic engagement in consortia with a focus on the first line emergency response.
  • Remote Management: Support the development and implementation of remote management systems and tools/
  • Risk Management: Leading due diligence processes relating to grant agreements and partnerships; providing technical support, training, and capacity building on donor compliance issues; and supporting external donor audits.
  • Coordination & Representation: Engaging in networking, information gathering, and context analysis; and engaging in grants and partnerships initiatives.
  • Line Management: Line managing the Grants Team, and ensuring quality and accurate information management systems.

What You Will Bring

  • Project management (donor relations and grant management) experience in a humanitarian/recovery context.
  • Donor rules and regulations understanding.
  • Project cycle management, and report & proposal writing experience.
  • Remote programming and remote team-working exposure.
  • Data and financial analysis proficiency.
  • Complex, and volatile context exposure.
  • Myanmar, or South / South-East Asia, context exposure and knowledge
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.

What We Offer

  • Yangon, Myanmar duty station, subject to receiving appropriate documentation. The successful candidate will be expected to work from home/remotely for extended periods of time.
  • 24-month contract duration.
  • 20% travel, approximately.
  • Grade 9 in NRC’s Salary Scale. NRC offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
