Overview

Support country teams in designing accountable programmes

You have:

Strong understanding of PCM and MEAL.
Prior experience in a MEAL role.
Experience in designing and implementing MEAL systems including digital data collection and analysis.
Experience in designing and delivering training on PCM and/or MEAL topics.
Ability to collaborate effectively across different cultures and backgrounds.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Fluency in French is advantageous.

The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team supporting country teams to have well-designed, accountable programmes. Collaborate closely with colleagues in HQ and Country Offices to strengthen programme quality especially in terms of PCM and MEAL systems. Develop and roll-out organisational policies and processes to enhance MEAL/PCM. Enjoy the chance to travel and support Trócaire staff and partners in their programme quality activities within country programmes.

Requirements

You will report to Head of PIL. The job opportunity will be offered on a full-time basis for 12 months and will be based in Ireland.

We’d love if you have a strong understanding of PCM and MEAL, along with prior experience in a MEAL role. Experience in designing and implementing MEAL systems including using digital data collection, analysis and visualisation programmes. Additional experience in designing and delivering training on PCM and/or MEAL topics would be beneficial. As this role involves support to Country Offices and partners, it's crucial that you can collaborate effectively across different cultures and backgrounds and have excellent communication and facilitation skills. You will need to travel several times a year including to fragile and conflict affected countries. Fluency in French would be advantageous.
