You have:
- A Bachelor's degree in linguistics, literature, editing, writing or a related field is required.
- A minimum of two years in linguistics, literature, editing, writing or a related field is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of French is preferred but not mandatory.
Result of Service The consultant will deliver a completed UNCRR by 31 March which is the deadline proposed by HQ and complete other assigned editorial tasks.
The 2022 UN Country Results Report for KSA will be concise, coherent and at a standard that can be shared with Government and other partners to highlight the results of the UN’s work in KSA in 2022. Other assigned editorial tasks will be completed to the same high standard and timeliness.

Expected duration 2.5 Months
Duties and Responsibilities The consultant will report to the Head of Office and Senior Economist in the KSA’s UN RCO, and will assist in and continue the work of the KSA’s UN Country Results Report (UNCRR).
This will include: (1) Work with the RCO staff members and a graphic designer to create a template, including the integration of pictures and graphics into the template; (2) Communicate/coordinating with various AFPs in the KSA to collect and organize the relevant information for the UNCRR; (3) Write/edit the UNCRR in accordance with the UN standards and guidance for the UNCRR; (4) Support the translation of the UNCRR as required; (5) Develop communication products for the various social media platforms to promote the UNCRR; (6) And various tasks that arise for the RCO.
Qualifications/special skills A Bachelor's degree in linguistics, literature, editing, writing or a related field is required.

Languages English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
For the position(s) advertised, fluency in English is required.
