Overview
Join PNUD as a Gender Specialist Advisor to support gender equality initiatives in crisis response.
You have:
- 3 years of relevant professional experience, including significant experience in developing contexts or humanitarian settings.
- Extensive experience in delivering management consulting services and designing, monitoring and evaluating gender-sensitive programs and projects, with proven participation in establishing relationships between international organizations and national governments.
- In-depth technical knowledge on gender in humanitarian action, gender analysis, rapid assessment.
- Experience in conflict or post-conflict situations regarding conflict prevention, peacebuilding, resilience and development considering conflict and gender.
- Knowledge of and experience in crisis response operations, including recovery planning and resilience missions in at least two different regions of PNUD.
- Ability to lead planning, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of development programs and projects, and to mobilize resources.
- Solid knowledge of results management guidelines and toolkit.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent drafting, formulation and reporting skills.
Contract
