You have:
- Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in gender analysis and mainstreaming in development programmes.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Familiarity with UNICEF Gender Policy, GAP, OECD DAC Gender Marker, and Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy, GBA Plus, and Gender Equality Toolkit.
- Past experience in nutrition related programs will be an asset.

TERMS OF REFERENCE
This consultancy supports UNICEF Egypt’s “Nourishing Futures” programme (2025–2030) by engaging a Gender Expert to conduct a comprehensive Gender-Based Analysis Plus to strengthen gender equality outcomes across maternal and girls’ nutrition interventions. The Gender Expert will:
• Identify gender specific and intersectional gaps, barriers, and opportunities across programme components.
• Assess alignment with UNICEF GAP principles and Canada’s Gender Equality Checklist and FIAP outcomes.
• Recommend concrete, measurable gender-responsive and transformative actions, indicators, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure integration of intersectional dimensions (age, disability, socio-economic status, geographic location) and meaningful engagement of men and boys as agents of change.
