The Gender Team at the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub is publishing a Gender Dispatch Newsletter, developed for Country Offices in the region. The RBAP Gender Equality Newsletter highlights UNDP’s contributions to gender equality and women’s empowerment in the region and demonstrates how UNDP has been integrating gender equality in our work. The newsletter is a platform to demonstrate UNDP's ability and approach to capitalize on opportunities to create innovative and multi-disciplinary interventions to address structural and behavioural issues that constrain women's equal opportunities. Draft stories will be shared for the online volunteer's inputs. Each story is 600 word approximately and there are 6-8 stories. The expected assignment duration is around 15 days after submittance of product. Timely feedback, collaboration ensured.

In this volume, we would like to feature stories that highlight Country Office's work on ensuring gender equality in COVID responses across the region.
Volunteers: 1 needed
11-20 hours per week / 2 weeks
English as a native language. Bachelor/Masters degree in communication, proven experience in the production of communication material related to gender equality. The online volunteer is expected to edit the drafts submitted by each country office ensuring stories not only describe a process but share how these have the potential to be gender transformative.
