Job Summary:

GEDSI Intern will provide support to CSS team on GEDSI related activities in CSS program and partners’ implementation levels. The Intern will report to Civic Engagement Coordinator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS:

Under the overall guidance of the CE Coordinator, the GEDSI Intern shall perform the following duties:

  • Assist with daily tasks related to GEDSI
  • Support logistic and confirm participant for GEDSI training/workshop
  • Support CEC in organizing Pride Month 2024 and other related tasks
  • Assist in taking note of meeting/training/workshop sometimes
  • And performed other tasks assigned

TYPE AND NATURE OF CONTRACTS:

  • Intern (6 months)
  • Full time (flexible working hour according to supervisor approval)

Education &QUALIFICATION:

  • Fresh graduate or undergraduate student (at least in Year 3) in Laws, Social study, and other related field.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and Finance software.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Khmer.

Experience/Other Requirements:

  • High commitment to learn during the internship
  • Demonstrated willingness to travel in Phnom Penh and to provinces for field visits/monitoring
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn by doing
  • Demonstrated work flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Demonstrated good communication and teamwork

  • Displays ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
  • Treats all people fairly without favoritism.
  • Fulfills all obligations to gender sensitivity and zero tolerance for sexual harassment.
