You have:
- Experience in advocacy and influencing activities.
- Familiarity with issues pertaining to gender-based violence.
- Ability to engage with young women and advocate for their rights.
- Experience in working with diverse stakeholders including NGOs and community networks.
- Degree in gender studies, social sciences, or related field.

Role Purspose
The Advocacy and Influencing Officer will contribute to ensuring the quality of Advocacy interventions under the She Leads project implemented by Plan and partners while also providing direct support to Girls and Young Women involved within the project who are implementing youth-led advocacy initiatives. She/he will also be responsible for supporting the She Leads consortium advocacy efforts and in the development of overall advocacy and influencing messages related to youth, specifically Girls and Young Women (GYW).
Dimensions of the Role
Under the direct supervision of the Gender Project Coordinator and the overall guidance of the Advocacy, Communication and Influencing Manager and the GBV and SRHR program manager, the GBV and Advocacy Officer will be in charge of designing and following up on the implementation of the advocacy activities while also providing technical assistance to partners under the She Leads Project through coordinating with project staff, partners and the GYW involved to ensure quality programming. This position will help to drive change at the local level and would also contribute to it at the regional level.
