Key Functions:

  1. Leads Optimization Campaigns with active donors

• Promotes that all interaction of donors with UNICEF campaigns improve their lifetime value for the organization (throughout all channels: telemarketing, email, WhatsApp, social media, etc.)

• Contributes to the accomplishment of the goals for relevant KPIs: Number of active donors, average amount of donations, collectability of donations, survival/cancellation of donors and extra cash income.

• Works with multiple communication channels to improve donor’s loyalty and value maximization.

• Monitor optimization campaign results and has reports always available for all relevant parties decision making.

• Relates with relevant colleagues for the role, as to serve UNICEF general goals, from the retention perspective.

• Contribute to a proper use of the platforms (Sales Force or others) for optimization leaders and donor care and value max fundraiser teams within the times and methods set by the responsible team.

• Monitors that the services provided by the implementing partners follow UNICEF rules and regulation.

• Build a close relationship with specific stakeholders relevant for campaign optimization, specially implementing partner/s, providers, and agencies, to ensure a smooth and organized system functioning, development, and implementation.

• Asist to regular meetings with internal or external stakeholders to monitor on-going commitment on the deliverables.

• Contributes to the construction of the annual work plan and budget for campaign optimization.

  1. Work closely with all teams in Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) teams, implementing partner and agencies to ensure project and requirements alignment of needs and scope.

  2. Understand the business operation considering where efficiencies can be made.

  3. Contributes on monitoring the campaign optimization.

  4. Lead efficient and timely contract procurement and invoice process and any other related.

  5. Manage budget to ensure funding is always available and properly allocated.

  6. Manage all consent, licenses, and other agreements with UNICEF third parties and ensure that all contracts are kept up to date in the VISION system and all invoices are processed and paid on time.

How can you make a difference?

The position will contribute to the Organization goals as it will:

• Bring income from active donors file to optimize lifetime value of donors for UNICEF, at the lowest cost possible (Maximize ROI).

• Contribute to the best survival of donors while they are members of UNICEF, giving them a high-quality experience through all campaign touchpoints

• Make fundraising resources (fundraisers, social media posts, WhatsApp messages, etc.) available for optimization of different kind of audiences (cash donors, pledge donors, pledge donors that are prospects of legacies, etc.) as to achieve synergies from UNICEF resources.

Successful achievements of these objectives will lead to substantially higher income for UNICEF through increased donor retention. Failure to deliver the required resources and experience will result in loss of income and increase of costs.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in project management, business analytics, science/engineering, information technology, electrical engineering, or equivalent professional.
  • A minimum of 7 of relevant professional experience in customer support, contact center, direct marketing or fundraising areas.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergencies is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

A bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for three (3) years of experience in case the candidate lacks the required experience.

A master’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a field relevant to the position may be considered to compensate for an additional two (2) years (in addition to the three years from above, totaling 5 years).

Remarks:

UNICEF appointments are subject to medical clearance. Issuance of a visa by the host country of the duty station, which will be facilitated by UNICEF, is required for IP positions.
