How can you make a difference?

Under the supervision of Fundraising Specialist – Acquisition (NO-C), this role will assist in implementing and managing UNICEF’s donor acquisition fundraising operation focusing TV fundraising (DRTV) and other new fundraising initiatives as assigned by the supervisor.

Major Responsibilities:

Contribute to Fundraising programme development, planning and execution.

  • Overall project management of Direct Response Television (DRTV) and new fundraising initiative campaigns as assigned by the supervisor to achieve targets (income / new donors / leads etc)
  • Under guidance of the supervisor and office’s management, help develop strategies and plans for management and coordination of suppliers across media, creative and response channels
  • Under the guidance of the supervisor, coordination of feedback from all stakeholders including communications and programs teams
  • Development of test plans across audience, media, message, and offer, alongside suppliers and other key stakeholders
  • Monitoring of results within each campaign, including the timely and accurate delivery of results from suppliers, and optimizing campaign performance where possible based on these results
  • Work closely with the media buying agency and other agencies for end to end media planning and coordination for the campaign
  • Work on optimization of media to continuously improve cost per response and cost per acquisition
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly media plan performance reporting for better optimization
  • Lead development of creative in coordination with communications, programme and creative agency.
  • Production of end of campaign results, key learnings and recommendations as part of the knowledge management of the office which then feed into the next phase of planned activity to continually improve performance

Monitor, evaluation, and report of programme results

  • Coordinate monitoring the success of each activity and prepare progress reports against the work plan and targets. Coordinate collecting, interpreting data, analyzing results using statistical techniques and model(s), and providing recommendations and strategic plan for future activities.
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly media plan performance reporting for better optimization
  • Prepare and monitor daily and month to date fund raising representative performance matrix for closely motoring TM performance
  • Ensuring there are smooth data flows between all response channels, in-bound and outbound teams and follow on conversion and welcome activities

Ensure effective resource mobilization

  • Effectively manage and communicate with other team members, partners, and related parties to achieve programme goals
  • Contribute to evaluation of the performance of each activity and presents on expenditure and budget and progress against plans.
  • Perform various of effective supports to the team as and when requires.
  • Work closely with Digital team on digital DRTV
  • Work closely with the TM team to support fund raising representatives to achieve their monthly conversion rates
  • Conduct weekly and monthly meeting with all partners and support them in running an integrated campaign

  • Be a part of the omni-channel projects and work closely with other team members to achieve the campaign goals

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • University degree in related field, i.e. Marketing, Communication, Business Administration. Master’s degree is preferable
  • A minimum of one year experience managing complex projects with diverse and spread-out teams, knowledge of best practices.
  • Experience in managing fundraising and marketing projects.
  • Experience in managing DRTV campaign is a plus.
  • Project management and budget monitoring experience.
  • Experience in working for the UN, UNICEF or with International NGOs or global organizations is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Thai is required. Knowledge of another UN language is considered as an asset
