UNICEF works in some of the world's toughest places, to reach the world's most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential. Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

The Private Sector Fundraising (PSFR) section of UNICEF works with National Committees and UNICEF country offices to maximize income and drive income growth. There are five teams within the PSFR section: the purpose of the Global Philanthropy team is to grow income from major donors, and faith and membership-based organizations.

Private Philanthropy is a fast-growing income stream for UNICEF’s private sector fundraising and partnership section.

UNICEF raises money from philanthropic donors both directly through the Global Philanthropy Team and indirectly through National Committees and fundraising country offices around the world. The Global Philanthropy team is responsible for providing both strategic leadership and technical support in this area.

UNICEF is refining its offer to the ultra-wealthy philanthropic audience. Through private grant-making donors can ensure sustainable change for children (Impact), receive clear attribution on the change they’ve made possible (recognition), and meet a network of like-minded and powerful families (community). This is an emotional, life-defining journey enriched with purpose. Each of our global initiatives is built to realize the ultimate offer to write the story of your life – linking philanthropy to identity, individuality, and meaning.
