Would you like to become a child champion at UNICEF Mexico, working as a Fundraising Associate (Value Maximization)? It is an excellent opportunity to be part of UNICEF's Individual Giving team and implement your negotiation skills, knowledge, and experience. You will be in charge of value maximization of the donor and development strategies, which implies different key performance indicators, and the monitoring of an increased number of activities with different timelines.

Under the supervision of the Retention Officer (Individuals), the incumbent with the support of the retention officer will be responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of value maximization plans in accordance to PFP-IG objectives; and to ensure a Donor Engagement journey to maximize the value of current donors.

The proposed post will strengthen UNICEF’s campaigns’ ‘implementation capacity’, among others, by:

  • Maximizing the value of the individual giving channel.
  • Increasing Donor Lifetime Value.
  • Increasing average gift donations.

How can you make a difference?

This role will be crucial to create vertical expertise in digital advertising in the Digital Fundraising team:

  1. Provides strategic and technical support for planning, implementing, and monitoring the value maximization strategy and campaigns calendar, objectives, metrics, and KPIs.
  2. Tracks regular monitoring and evaluation reports with the agencies to ensure maximum impact and continuous improvement of the campaigns. Sharing results and reports on a timely basis.
  3. Develops new communication channels to reach donors for optimization.
  4. Carries out administrative tasks and responsibilities effectively.
  5. Promotes cross-functional coordination and collaboration with other areas.

To qualify as a champion for every child you will have…

The following required education, experience, and languages:

  • Completion of secondary education (High School).
  • A minimum of 6 years of work experience that combines marketing, promotions, sales, client services, commercial or fundraising areas. Alternatively, completion of a bachelor's degree may replace some of the required years of experience, that is if the candidate has this level of degree he/she may be considered if their relevant experience sums four years.
  • Fluency in Spanish.
  • An intermediate level of English.

You may also have the following desired education, experience, and languages, although they are not mandatory:

  • Technical or university degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication Sciences, Business Administration, or other related fields.
  • Experience working for international organizations doing fundraising.
  • Fluency in English. If you do not have it and you are selected, you will have to commit to improving your English skills in the first months of work.
