- Fluency in English required. Knowledge of French and/or Spanish is a strong asset.

Purpose of the assignment
The purpose of the assignment is to support the Global CP AoR with the management of programme and partnerships in line with the Global CP AoR 2022-2024 workplan. The individual contractor is expected to put in place and maintain management and monitoring systems to ensure the continuity of partnerships, establishment of new partnerships and overall programme support.
Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the Global CP AoR Deputy Coordinator, the individual contractor will support the programmatic and financial management of existing and new partnerships and establishing and/or monitoring projects workplans as appropriate. This will include regular engagement with partner organizations whilst working closely with the Global CP AoR thematic and Help Desk focal points.
The individual contractor will work closely with the Global CP AoR Deputy Coordinator to provide support to the day-to-day operational and administrative management of the implementation of the Global CP AoR workplan, including monitoring and reporting on planned activities, procurement and any other relevant tasks. The contractor will also work with the Global CP AoR Coordinator to provide support in the planning and review of the annual workplan and resources.
The contractor will furthermore be expected to support the organization of in-person and remote meetings and trainings.

Individual Contractor’s Work Place and Official Travel
The assignment will be home-based with travel if required to attend global meetings and the contractor will be required to work during the UNICEF Geneva working hours. In the event of travel to attend global meetings, the contract holder will be responsible for travel arrangements and must ensure they are made in line with UNICEF policy on entitlements for consultant travel. UNICEF shall cover the travel costs, including costs for accommodation, meals and incidentals in accordance with the daily subsistence allowance (DSA) rates promulgated by the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC). The payment of travel costs shall be limited to economy class air travel, regardless of the length of travel.
Estimated Cost of the Consultancy and Payment Schedule
Payment will be made on submission of a monthly invoice, and satisfactory & timely completion of the above-mentioned deliverables. Please indicate an all inclusive fixed monthly fee in USD to undertake this assignment. Applications without a financial proposal will not be considered. This is a full-time consultancy. The Individual Contractor will be working five days per week from Monday to Friday and will observe the same office hours as the UNICEF Geneva Office.

Experience
- Master's degree in Development Studies, Development Economics, International relations or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional work experience. National and/or International work experience in coordination, project management, administration, financial management and/or related fields.
- Experience in results-based approach to work planning, budget management, donor reporting and programming.
- Previous international experience in humanitarian project management, including remote project management, is an asset.
- Knowledge of UNICEF policies and procedures related to programme management and partnerships is a strong asset.
Technical skills
- Project and budget management skills.
- Solid skills in Office programs such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
- Solid organizational and event-planning skills, including virtual meetings and remote participation.
