You have:

• Minimum of five years of experience in the ICT domain and at least three years of experience in MEAN stack software development is required.
• Good command in English is required.
• Certification in MEAN stack development would be an added advantage.
• A first-level university degree/diploma in computers is required.
• Knowledge and hands-on skills of Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, Express, Node.js, MongoDB, Socket.io, PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, and VB.

Work Location New Delhi

Expected duration Initial Contract is from 1 July 2022-30 June 2023 (12 months) with a possibility of extension.

Duties and Responsibilities The UN’s Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) defines the strategic direction for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to the UN Secretariat. It provides oversight of ICT programs, budgets, and decision-making to align with the Secretariat’s overall ICT strategy. We are looking for a Full Stack Web Developer - MEAN Stack who is motivated to comprehend, conceptualize, and produce effective software solutions. Within delegated authority and in close cooperation with the Software Production Coordinator, the Full Stack Web Developer - MEAN Stack will be responsible for the Duties and Responsibilities mentioned below. o Developing front-end website architecture. o Designing user interactions on web pages. o Developing back-end website applications. o Creating servers and databases for functionality. o Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones. o Ensuring responsiveness of applications. o Working alongside graphic designers for web design features. o Seeing through a project from conception to finished product. o Designing and developing APIs. o Meeting both technical and consumer needs. o Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages. o Ensure tight management of milestones and progress of ongoing software development projects. o Ensures data security and integrity. o Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/special skills Skills: The knowledge and hands-on skills of Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and Express, Nodejs, Mongo DB, Socket.Io, PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, and VB Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree/diploma in computers is required. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in the ICT domain and at least three years of experience in MEAN stack software development is required. Certification in MEAN stack development would be an added advantage. Language: Good command in English is required.
