NRC is looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join the Afghanistan mission. The role holder support programme/project implementation. He/she will be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the programme-related budget and financial reports.

If you are a seasoned finance executive, who has extensive donor-reporting and partnerships experience, and a track record in securing and deploying resources and optimising work processes, then this is the role for you!

What You Will Do

  • Financial handbook, policies, donor requirements, auditor requirements adherence.
  • Financial and reporting tools, systems, routines, and procedures implementation and utilisation.
  • Financial budgeting, reporting, analyses, and forecasts.
  • Evidence-based budgeting, expenditure forecasting, and expenditure reporting streamlining.
  • Master budget development support.
  • Capacity building and development of teams and partners.
  • Donor reports preparation and submission.
  • Grant review and closing meetings focal point.

What You Will Bring

  • Senior Financial Advisory/Managerial experience.
  • Humanitarian/recovery context experience.
  • Donor rules and regulations understanding and expertise.
  • Partnership experience.
  • Capacity building, training, and technical assistance track record.
  • Computer software and accounting systems expertise.
  • High risk, insecure, opaque, complex, and volatile context exposure, and experience with displaced people.
  • English fluency, both written and verbal.
