You have:

- Experience working in complex, multi-country, or NGO environments is a plus.

Do you want to play a key role in driving strategic financial decisions across a global organization? Join DRC’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) team and support senior leadership with the insights they need to deliver impact at scale.
Who are we? You will join DRC’s Financial Planning & Analysis unit, part of the Global Finance Division based at HQ in Copenhagen. FPA is responsible for ensuring strong financial planning, data-driven decision-making, and high-quality financial insights across the organization. We work closely with Executive Directors, country operations, and finance colleagues in HQ and across more than 30 countries to secure transparent, accurate, and forward-looking financial management.
You will report to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and work as a strategic financial advisor to one or more Executive Directors and their leadership teams (i.e. Country Directors).
About the job The FPA Business Partner serves as a trusted financial advisor, supporting strategic and operational decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. You will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, deliver analytical insights, identify financial risks and opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting in line with DRC’s financial standards.
The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to translate financial information for nonfinance audiences, and a proactive approach to shaping financial strategies alongside senior leadership.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Partner with Executive Directors to develop, monitor, and analyze departmental or regional budgets and forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational priorities.
- Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting aligned with internal requirements and organizational standards.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and propose mitigation or optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues across departments and country offices to consolidate financial data and ensure compliance.
- Support scenario planning and long-term financial modelling for strategic initiatives.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, tools, and reporting frameworks to strengthen efficiency and transparency.
Act as a liaison between finance and non‑finance stakeholders to build alignment and understanding on financial matters.
About you You are an experienced, analytical finance professional who thrives in a role bridging financial expertise and strategic decision-making. You enjoy working with senior leaders, translating financial data into actionable insights, and contributing to a well-managed and forward-looking financial framework.

Start date: June 1, 2026
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for Academics at ‘fuldmægtig’ level. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
