RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provide one-on-one financial coaching and counseling for clients. - Conduct financial management intakes and surveys for all clients. - Track client meetings and progress in a spreadsheet and through case noting on ETO software. - Facilitate monthly financial literacy/education workshops for clients. - Develop a database of financial resources for clients. - Work in conjunction with the Economic Empowerment specialist to develop relationships with financial institutions and - organizations providing financial services in NJ - Communicate effectively in person and by telephone. - Collaborate with other IRC in NJ programs as necessary - Adhere to IRC policies, particularly those related to confidentiality and client privacy.

Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:

- The ideal candidates will have prior experience in the field of personal financial management, preferably in a counseling or coaching role. - Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, Dari, and Pashto speakers preferred - Due to the nature of the program, the financial coaching intern will need to volunteer for set office hours every week and should be available for a minimum of fifteen hours a week, if possible
