Staff Management

- Lead and develop direct service staff through facilitation of team meetings and individual supervision including coaching and goal setting. Oversee staff workload, help prioritize tasks, and troubleshoot challenges. - Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and protocols of the agency.

Client Services

- Assist clients in assessing and resolving current financial challenges, while providing a wide lens on their financial health to shift the approach to proactive financial management - Ensure that changes (new job, new benefit, and change in credit score) are properly documented in relevant systems. - Capture client success stories - Develop workshop materials or tailor existing materials to meet the needs of the community. Workshop topics may include the following: budgeting, savings, banking products, credit building, and identity theft.

Program Oversight

- Coordinate quality assurance efforts by conducting periodic case file and electronic data reviews. - Monitor and encourage the employment team's progress toward programmatic performance requirements. Coordinate cases and effectively communicate between team members and departments. - Produce high-quality program reports for IRC headquarters and funders and ensure programs fulfill funder and agency requirements. - Assist in grant writing activities and development of new program opportunities. - Represent the department in the local community; develop and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations. - Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years of related professional experience in financial capabilities - Experience in a non-profit setting and/or financial coaching services a plus - Experience managing staff and/or volunteers - Experience working in a diverse, and non-traditional setting with diverse staff and client base - Knowledge of financial services and/or public benefits systems preferred. - Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications - Exceptional organizational skills with proven attention to detail. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member in a multi-cultural environment. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Fluent in English, both spoken and written; bilingual ability preferred. Preferably in Spanish, French, Arabic, Dari, Farsi and/or Pashto. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Working Environment:

- A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the outlined responsibilities. - May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.

Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
