You have:
- Experience from working as a Finance Assistant/Accountant
- Professional knowledge of accounting
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Knowledge of English, both written and verbal
- Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian both written and verbal
- Knowledge of legal tax base for the representation office
- Experience from working with local financial institutions and tax authorities
- Knowledge of accounting and financial systems
- Experience with start-up of humanitarian/recovery or related programmes is an asset
Contract
This is a Professional contract, Grade 4 (NRC) contract. More about Professional contract, Grade 4 (NRC) contracts.
We are looking for a national Technical Finance Assistant to join our team in Dnipro Ukraine
What you will do:
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
- Assist with the implementation of the Finance function portfolio according to plan of action
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
- Supporting finance team with filing, scanning and maintaining organized filing system with all financial and accounting documents and ensure filing is done according to NRC standards
- Promote and share ideas for improvement of the Finance function
- Contribute to identification of protection risks and needs in the context of program implementation
- Ensure NRC finance, HR, logistics guidelines are followed
- Assist Finance coordinator/officer for internal and external Financial & Systems Audits conducted at NRC Ukraine
- Maintaining cash and prepare daily cashbox reconciliations
- Making payment in different filed location
- Support in banking related issues
- Set up financial systems
- Establish relationships with local financial institutions and tax authorities
What you will bring:
- Experience from working as a Finance Assistant/Accountant
- Professional knowledge of accounting
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Knowledge of English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the context in the areas NRC operates
- Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian both written and verbal
- Knowledge of legal tax base for the representation office
- Experience from working with local financial institutions and tax authorities
- Knowledge of accounting and financial systems
- Experience with start-up of humanitarian/recovery or related programmes is an asset
What we offer:
- Type of contract: National employment contract
- Duration of Contract: Until 30.06.2023 with possibility of extension.
- Salary/benefits: According to NRC salary scale, terms, and conditions.
- Duty station: Dnipro - Ukraine.
