You have:
- Adherence to Financial Handbook, NRC policies and donor requirements is essential.
- Budget oversight and cash flow management is critical for the role.
- Quality control in finance activities is important.
- Capacity building experience for finance staff is important.
- Documentation of technical improvements is necessary.
- Ensure proper filing of all financial documents.
- Ability to support and guide finance staff as needed.
- Implement activities within NRC's Protection mainstreaming guidelines and report breaches.
Contract
This is a Professional contract, Grade 6 (NRC) contract. More about Professional contract, Grade 6 (NRC) contracts.
Generic responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Financial Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements
- Maintain overall budget oversight and monitor cash flow
- Ensure proper quality control and monitoring of the finance function activities
- Ensure Capacity Building of Finance and Project staff in the two AOs
- Assess, promote and document ideas of technical improvement and further development options related to finance.
- Ensure proper filing of all financial documents
- Support Finance staff in both Area Offices with budget as per need and as delegated by Support Coordinator
- Ensure that NRC’s related activities are implemented within NRC’s Protection mainstreaming guidelines and reports any breaches/concerns to the line manager and/or focal point for proper action.
