Finance Tax Assistant ( Afghan National Only )

Job Description

- Perform tax assistant duties to the tax department. - Assist tax Manager and in handling taxation matters. - Answer and respond to clients’ inquiries on their tax problems. - Organize and manage all tax reports, statements and documents relating to clients. - Assist and support administrative staff of the tax department. - Assist and support audit team in their tasks of tax audits. - Maintain strict client confidentiality relating to their tax matters. - Adhere to tax professional standards and ethics in tax assistant functions. - Providing timely responses and documentation for all types of taxes in Afghanistan - Facilitating relationships with all indirect tax auditors, including negotiation of tax positions and presentation of audit findings. - Cross-functional collaboration with internal groups to obtain necessary audit and tax - Completing where necessary reverse tax refund opportunities. - Compliance review when necessary - Keep full and accurate record of all types of taxes - Updating himself from any changes occurs in tax law of Afghanistan - Any other task assigned by Tax Manager. - Keep track of in/out official letters between IRC and Finance department

Qualifications

- Bachelor or equivalent degree in the relevant field - Should have at least one year experience in the relevant field - Should know accounting taxation or auditing - Must know local tax law - Problem solving skills - Team player - Excellent communication skills
