We are looking for a internal Ukranian Finance Officer (Cash & Voucher) who will be responsible to implement financial systems according to NRC policy and procedures and to render project staff necessary administrative support.

What you will do:

  • Verify that vouchers and supporting documents meet NRC standards before payment including preparing voucher slip and checking distribution lists for cash and voucher programme
  • Ensure that all costs are timely booked into Agresso on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Be responsible to write transactions numbers on the vouchers and label financial documents
  • Establish a good tracking system for advances and ensure that clearance of advances is done on timely manner
  • Ensure smooth operation of petty cash in country office and sub-offices. Be responsible for training staff assigned for petty cash. Be responsible for Cash handling according to Ukrainian legislation and NRC policies.
  • Prepare bank accounts and cashbox reconciliations
  • Assist the Finance Coordinator (FC) and the Finance Manager (FM) in internal and external audits
  • Work closely with the Program Departments to manage voucher programme
  • Be responsible for management of the bank and cash accounts.
  • Ensure implementing of the routine for securing supporting documentation in a digital format.

What you will bring:

  • Experience from working as a Finance Officer/Accountant/Cashier in a humanitarian/recovery context - preferable
  • Experience in Cash handling
  • Experience in preparing reports to Tax authorities (Form 1DF, The only social contribution Report- ЕСВ) – preferable s – preferable
  • Knowledge of English, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of context where NRC operates - preferable
  • Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of taxation base (according to Ukrainian Labour law and general rules of taxation )
  • At least 3 years’ experience, knowledge of auditing/accounting, bookkeeping, management accounting, cash handling
  • Good computer skills in MS Office as a must
  • Experience from working with local financial institutions and tax authorities
  • Experience with start-up of humanitarian/recovery or related programmes - preferable
