You have:
- Undergraduate or graduate students earning degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting.
- Attention to detail is essential to this position.
- Excellent communication skills are essential to this position.
- Ability to handle sensitive client information confidentially.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office products and basic accounting practices.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: Intern will gain experience using an ERP financial accounting system. Intern will learn how to effectively manage multiple workflows across Finance & Operations teams. Intern will receive hands-on experience with high-importance items and deliverables. Intern will develop an understanding of federal grant compliance and match tracking requirements. Intern will have direct communication with both Finance and program staff and work in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should be: Undergraduate students or graduate students earning degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting. Attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position.
REQUIREMENTS: Ability to handle sensitive client information confidentially. Comfort with Microsoft Office products and basic accounting practices, and willingness to learn to use new software for data entry.
