ROLE PURPOSE

The Finance Coordinator will be accountable and responsible to ensure effective internal control system, accurate accounting, and financial reporting in compliance with projects framework financial guidelines. S/he also facilitates the capacity building of the partners finance staff on compliance and to ensure timely advance settlement & payment.

DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE

Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Operations Support Manager manager, the Finance Coordinator will be based in Beirut. He/she ensures timely and accurate accounting, procurement, HR and all related internal and external reporting and compliance with internal Plan and external donor policies and requirements. For that purpose, he/she will work closely with the HR, Operation and Programmes team in Beirut.
