Job Description

ECHO and BMZ have recently introduced a requirement that all project supporting documents be scanned and saved in Germany (since the prime for those donors is IRC Deutschland). The following instructions must be followed when scanning supporting documents and saving them in Box.

The IRC is currently looking for Service Providers - Finance Clerk to support our financial department due to working modality, we are in need to support specially in the filing and scanning

1. All BMZ grants which started after 1 October 2020, and

2. All ECHO grants which started after 1 January 2021.

The responsibilities of a finance clerk to support the department with the filling, scanning, supporting in extracting the documents for the above-mentioned grants.

To be successful as a finance clerk, you should have strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good organizational skills, and working knowledge of accounting software. Ultimately, a top-notch finance assistant should have integrity, excellent skills, and an understanding of data privacy standards.

Deliverables:

- Scanning. - Filling. - Extracting payments. - Administrative work. - Other task requested as per the above deliverables.

Schedule:

Working hours from Monday till Friday, from 8:00 am till 5:00 pm

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accounting from recognized college/Institution (or degree). - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Fluency in English and Arabic. - Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks. - Can work in stressful environment.
