How can you make a difference?

Major duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking of all invoices received in the administration unit.
  • Support in reviewing all non-HACT Invoices and related documents.
  • Reviewing all petty cash vouchers.
  • Support the Finance Officer in audit preparations.
  • Support the Finance officer in ensuring that all HACT and non-HACT transactions in the office are in line with the office internal controls.
  • Supports the Finance officer in preparing the monthly cash forecast in support of bank Optimization.
  • Performs other duties, as required.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • Completion of secondary education is required with professional/university level courses in Accounting and Finance/Business administration is considered as an asset.
  • A minimum of six years of clerical experience in the area of finance and accounting is required.
  • Developing country work experience and/or familiarity with emergency is considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
