How can you make a difference?

Under close supervision of Finance Officer, the incumbent is expected to perform a range of standardized accounting and relevant clerical duties in supporting Private Sector Fundraising programme and activities.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Assists in preparation of periodic accounting records by recording receipts and disbursements (ledgers, cash books, vouchers, etc.) and reconciling data for recurring or special reports.
  2. Maintains contacts with local banks for verifying account status, obtaining approval for cheque clearances, verifying currency exchange rates, and similar direct transactions including for receiving income with the advanced banking system.
  3. Compiles and verifies budget and accounting data by researching files, calculating costs, and estimating anticipated expenditures from readily available information sources.
  4. Assists in preparation of the tax receipt requested by the donors.
  5. Assists in preparing detailed cost estimates, and participates in budget analysis and projects, as required.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate

  • Completion of secondary education is required with professional/university level courses in Accounting and Finance/Business administration considered as an asset.
  • University degree in Accounting and Finance preferred.
  • Minimum four years of clerical experience in the area of finance and accounting is required.
  • Fluency of English and Thai required.
