- Fluency in any other language proficiency is an advantage.

Within this framework, IOM will implement field-level data collection activities under the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) in close coordination with the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM) of the Ministry of Interior. These activities aim to generate reliable, timely, and actionable data to inform evidence-based decision-making and enhance programme effectiveness.
The Field Team Leader will report to IOM and operate under the direct supervision of IOM’s Senior Project Associate and Field Coordinator, ensuring effective field implementation, coordination, and quality assurance of data collection activities.
Under the direct supervision of IOM and in collaboration with the PMM, the UN Volunteer will:
• Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of field data collectors, ensuring full compliance with established data collection protocols, methodologies, and timelines • Assign geographic areas and specific locations to data collectors, and systematically monitor their progress and performance • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative field interviews with individuals from host and migrant communities, ensuring ethical and culturally sensitive engagement • Supervise and ensure the overall quality, accuracy, and integrity of data collection processes across the assigned province • Provide continuous, real-time feedback and technical guidance to enumerators to address data quality issues and improve performance • Undertake joint field visits with Project Associates to support implementation and ensure alignment with project objectives • Effectively utilize designated mobile data collection tools and platforms in line with project requirements • Prepare and submit regular (daily) updates on field progress, operational challenges, and key observations • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with community members, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate field access and smooth implementation • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor

Summary of this national UN Volunteer Entitlements: (Paid in local currency) • Monthly Living Allowance (MLA) is USD 1291 (Paid in Turkish Lira) • Private insurance: Health, dental, life, and dismemberment (coverage by CIGNA) As per UN’s diplomatic mission status, it is not included in National Security Institution’s (SGK) system but can be only initiated on private basis.
