You have:
- Bachelor degree in social science or equivalent field
- At least 6 months in social work and community engagement.
- English(Mandatory), Working Knowledge
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience (up to 2 years) in social work
- Good interpersonal, networking and communication skills
- Willingness to contribute and work as part of a team
- Flexibility and openness to learning and new experiences
- Respect for diversity and adaptability to other cultures
- Previous experience as a volunteer and/or experience of another culture
Contract
This is a UNV National Youth contract. This kind of contract is known as National UN Volunteer. It is normally only for nationals. More about UNV National Youth contracts.
Description of task
Under the direct supervision of the head of Monitoring & Evaluation unit, the National UN Youth Volunteer will:
Conduct data collection, using WFP M&E tools, for the following monitoring types:
Distribution Monitoring for the in-kind modality
- Post distribution monitoring at household level
- Monitoring visits to shops
- Ad-hoc M&E data collection
Educational additional comments
- Bachelor degree in social science or equivalent field;
Experience remark
at least 6 months in social work and community engagement .
