Plan and coordinate field operations to improve children's lives.

You have:

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in field-based project implementation or monitoring, preferably in energy, health, Agriculture or environmental projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using KoboToolbox (KoBo Collect) or similar mobile data collection platforms for monitoring and evaluation, including administering surveys, managing forms, and ensuring data quality.
  • Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Environmental Health, Community Development, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in data collection and basic data quality checks.
  • Ability to work independently in field settings.
  • Strong community mobilization and facilitation skills.
  • Fluency in local languages is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel to remote project sites. Must possess a valid motorcycle riding licence and be willing and able to ride a motorcycle for field work.

Field Operations & Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate all field monitoring activities within the assigned catchment area.
  • Develop monthly workplans and monitoring schedules for Community Specialists.
  • Coordinate registrations, re-registrations, household monitoring, relocation tracking, and awareness campaigns.
  • Identify, document, and escalate implementation challenges and risks.

Supervision of Community Specialists

  • Supervise approximately 35–37 Community Specialists.
  • Assign monitoring targets and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Conduct regular supervision visits and performance reviews.
  • Provide coaching and support to improve performance and data quality.
  • Review and verify supporting documentation required for Community Specialist payments.
  • Prepare and submit monthly payment recommendations and maintain payment records

Household Monitoring & Data Collection

  • Conduct detailed household usage surveys and verification visits.
  • Review and verify monitoring, registration, relocation, and awareness campaign data.
  • Conduct spot checks and data quality assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with project monitoring tools, reporting requirements, and ethical data collection standard

Community Awareness & Sensitization

  • Plan and facilitate awareness campaigns across assigned clusters.
  • Mobilize Community Specialists, community leaders, and beneficiaries.
  • Deliver key messages on cookstove use, maintenance, carbon rights, and grievance mechanisms.
  • Document and report community feedback and concerns. |
  • Awareness campaigns conducted in all assigned clusters according to the workplan.
  • Campaign records and supporting documentation submitted on time.
  • Beneficiary awareness and understanding of project messages improved.
  • Community feedback and grievances documented and addressed in a timely manner.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular field activity reports, including monitoring findings, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Submit weekly and monthly reports to the supervisor as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of households monitored, surveys conducted, and community engagements.
  • Contribute to learning and improvement by sharing field insights with the project team.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with community leaders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to support project implementation.
  • Support collaboration between the project and community structures
