Fall 2024 CIK Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with partner organization CIK orders and pickups - Assist with IRC program needs assessments - Prepare and deliver New Arrival Shop of Hope Orientation weekly - Assist with community inquiry tracking and follow-up, including emails, phone calls and community member drop-ins - Assist in partner prospect research and outreach - Collaborate with Corporate Engagement Team on CIK drives - Assist in maintaining accurate, up-to-date data across pertinent databases; - Provide direct service to clients as needed by the Resource Development team; - Assist with Resource Development needs including community engagement, external communications, event planning, and fundraising; - Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and special staff development programs. - Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must submit intern hours on volunteer portal. - Must pass a background check. - Commitment of 15 hours per week for a minimum of 3 consecutive months. - Must be at least 18 years old.

This is an in-person position. This position reports to the Volunteer Coordinator.
