Context
The Posner Center for International Development is seeking a part-time Executive Coordinator to support the organization's fundraising, operational, marketing, and Board coordination efforts. In coordination with the Board of Directors and Posner Center staff, this role will focus on strategic planning and implementation to ensure the organization's stability and prepare for future growth. This position is essential for providing leadership and support to the Center as it prepares to hire its next Executive Director.

Position Details
- Structure: This is a part-time consulting contract for 30 days over 6 months. The coordinator will serve as a non-voting member of the board.
- Location: The consultant must be able to spend at least 50% of their contracted time at the Posner Center.
- Pay Rate: $600-800 per day based on experience.
- Reporting: The Coordinator will report to the Board Executive Committee. This is a non-supervisory position.
Requirements
Responsibilities
1. Fundraising and Development
- Drive growth in the Posner Center's member and tenant base.
- Meet with current and past tenants to understand needs for office and event
Work with Posner Center team to communicate opportunities at the center.
Lead and enact Fundraising Committee activities, including setting up fundraising infrastructure.
- Create a roadmap for the Posner Center's fundraising and development needs.
- Develop an updated, clear, and actionable vision statement to guide the
- Posner Center's identity and funding needs.
- Write proposals, pitches, and concept notes.
- Engage with current and potential funders.
2. Strategic Operations and Partnerships
- Create and enact processes for operational, marketing, and Board coordination improvements that:
- Increase new partnerships while deepening existing ones.
- Raise awareness about Posner Center programming and assist in planning efforts.
- Improve execution of Board of Directors' ideas
KPIs
- Achieve 20% growth of tenancy and memberships.
- Meet agreed upon fundraising goals for Posner development.
- Establish a fundraising and partnerships working group comprised of Board members and other stakeholders.
- Develop organization materials for funding submissions, including boilerplate text, legal documents, governance materials, etc.
- Create a research database of relevant funding opportunities for 2025 and into 2026.
- Develop 3-5 proposals by the end of this six-month contract.
- Conduct 5-6 meetings with Colorado-based, national, or international donors or aligned organizations each month.
- Set up and run a monthly Fundraising and Development Committee meeting with in-person and Zoom options.
- Develop and execute a diverse range of fundraising and development plans, including grants, traditional donor funding, and alternative funding models.
- Create and implement a Board recruitment strategy plan.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in fundraising, partnership development, and operational management.

- Ability to work independently and provide leadership to advance organizational goals.
Preferred Experience
- Past executive level (first chair) leadership experiences as interim or permanent staff.
