Please Note: This role requires the ability to work on site 3 days per week per company policy.

We are seeking an Event Technology Product & Delivery Lead to join the Global Programming Group (GPG).

This role is designed to strengthen the alignment between business needs, technology solutions, and delivery execution across Forum meetings. It combines strategic product thinking with structured project delivery to ensure that Event Technology services are both relevant and successfully implemented in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Reporting Lines & Interactions

You will report to the Head of GPG Event Technology.

The role interacts closely with: - Internal Forum teams (Editorial, Engagement, Event Management, Event Strategy, Event Technology and Participant Services) - Digital Technology, IT Infrastructure, Security teams - External technology providers and strategic partners

Role Objective

To ensure the structured and high-quality delivery of Event Technology solutions across GPG by translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements and enabling seamless collaboration across teams.

This role ensures strong alignment between user needs, technology solutions, and delivery execution, combining strategic product thinking with structured project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Project Manager and own the end-to-end delivery of Event Technology services for small and mid-size events, ensuring seamless coordination of IT planning, logistics, and on-site execution

  • Act as Product Lead for GPG Event Technology, managing and prioritizing the roadmap and backlog for both new initiatives and continuous improvements

  • Align internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, consistent, and impactful delivery of event technology services that support seamless event operations and participant experience

  • Translate complex business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements, enabling efficient collaboration between business and technical teams

  • Drive continuous improvement of Event Technology services by identifying opportunities to standardize, simplify, and scale solutions across meetings

  • Ensure consistency and quality of delivery by applying structured methodologies (Agile, ITIL, project management best practices) across both product and project dimensions

  • Produce clear documentation, executive summaries, and post-event debriefs to support decision-making and continuous improvement

    Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Event Technology, Product, and/or project delivery

  • Proven experience managing complex IT initiatives and/or product environments

  • Business–IT Translation – Ability to bridge business needs and technical solutions across diverse stakeholders

  • Product Mindset & Prioritization – Strong user-centric approach with the ability to manage and prioritize backlogs and roadmaps

  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executive and non-technical audiences

  • Strong focus on user needs and continuous improvement

  • Fluency in English; French and/or German is a plus

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ITIL, and project management methodologies
